WaterfallINTAG Programs

  • Puerto Rico
Short-term study programs allow students to explore culture, language, and agriculture all at the same time. Puerto Rico is fun because it is so close and easy to get to. Also the people there are warm, friendly, and they are great hosts.
  • Costa Rica
Costa Rica is interesting for many reasons. First, the people are wonderful. They are warm and very friendly. Second, the country is so unique because of the various climates and diversity of plants and animals. There is so much to see and to do and around every bend in the road is a new adventure. We had a great time in Costa Rica and we invite you to check out our photo album and student expereiences to see more.

  • Russia
This is a life-changing experience! Students come away from Russia with a much greater understanding of how people live and work in agriculture in this unique and interesting country. You will gain a semesters-worth of experiences that will last you a lifetime. Not only will you study with Russian students, you will also get to make great friends with the other American students that will be part of this program. This is a signature program developed at Penn State.
  • Ukraine
The Ukraine program is offered in Lviv, Ukraine. Students will attend Lviv State Agricultural University and earn Penn State credits. While similar to the Russian study abroad experience, students will get more opportunity to observe agricultural production techniques at LSAU. Students will live in newly remodeled housing and will directly interact with Ukrainian students on a daily basis. This program represents a great opportunity to better understand the transition from the Soviet system. Take advantage of the opportunity to be some of the first American students to study agriculture in the historical breadbasket of Europe.
