"An experience like Puerto Rico is the perfect medium for students who are reticent about international travel to get their feet wet. The environment is safe and the people are extremely kind and truly interested about visitors. The trip combines education, a little field work and plenty of time for site seeing. I would recommend this opportunity to anyone that wants to experience something unique."

"The experience allowed me to learn about Puerto Rican agriculture. We explored the various agricultural sectors and worked with limited resource farmers as a means of education for both students and farmers. The hospitality of the Puerto Rican people was wonderful."

"It is a stretch to call Puerto Rico an international experience given that it is a commonwealth of the United States; however the culture and the agricultural landscape was like nothing I had every experienced before."
