Ukraine
Ukraine is rich in culture, history, and tradition. Lviv is the picturesque
site for the study abroad program in Ukraine. The city represents a mix
of eastern and western cultures. The cobblestone streets and the beautiful historical
buildings provide an interesting backdrop for this fascinating
study abroad program.
The university is located a few minutes away from the downtown area and
students will live in a newly renovated hostel that will be your home away
from home for the spring semester.
Students at Lviv will have the opportunity to develop a strong relationship
with the 10 other American university students and their peer Ukrainian
students in this new study abroad opportunity.
Students will come away from this program with a unique understanding
of the transition going on in Ukraine. Clearly, students will be better
prepared to enter the international workforce after they have studied
in Ukraine. Students from Penn State will obtain an INTAG Minor by participating
